So, if you're reading this, Kangana, thank you for your efforts and devotion and the wonderful sharing in your video! Well, since we were in silence for 8 days, it would have been super awkward I'm sure, even for your biggest fan, if she was sitting right next to you, to not be able to say a word to you.

Probably for the best I'm all for kadi sadhana as you know. Anyway, coming to my experience, I had the rare privilege of being able to attend this program a second time in this lifetime, and obviously didn't want to waste the opportunity.

The first time was inthe same year I did the Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, and while it opened up things for me back then, it was much more explosive this time around. The preparation for this program involves a lot of daily sadhana, a relatively strict diet, and heaps of planning. But once you're there, it has the potential to become something of the beyond. I kept everything up in preparation, to the best of my ability, and threw myself into the long hours of meditation initially struggling but eventually settling and processes.

Being a full time Hatha Yoga teacher definitely helped as sitting in Ardhasiddhasana for long hours is a part of our job description. There was also the fun challenge of trying to fit in all the hatha yoga practices and kriyas and meals in the breaks with no sense of time which made this program quite unique and interesting. In terms of outcomes and experience, all I can say is the seeking intensified and with Sadhguru's grace, I was able to find a completely new level of clarity, balance, ease and stillness within.

Obviously, any written description of the experience would only distort what it actually is. Coming out of the program and back into 'normal' life is not easy but thanks to the new sadhana, it can be.

One thing is certain, I will not drop this precious tool and will encourage as many people as I can who are willing, to make this journey and discover this dimension within themselves. Customer reviews.Prior to this seminar, I previously studied with a few of the Sambodha teachers. During that time, I came to experience some curious phenomenon that occasionally arises when meditating with a few of your more advanced teachers.

But the releases I watched with those teachers seem to be different. Not emotionally distraught, or in any way jumbled or unsettled. It seemed there was something secretive about it. Aaravindha: I understand why those advanced meditators might appear secretive. Those advanced techniques that can lead to those movements can be very attractive. Shaking, particularly if the meditation practices are deeply transcendental, is also normal and common.

Some of which may be physically oriented, and others that can be broadly emotional. In either case, a good meditation teacher will teach you to be mindfully distanced from those releases, to best let the tension or stress break away. There are many reasons that the body or mind stored a tension.

But most often the stored stress is the result of a mentally mechanized survival effort to protect from a threat or overload. The important thing to remember is that you are clearing, and no longer holding on to it. Many of the more seasoned teachers occasionally indulge in some of their advanced practices during meditation, which can trigger Shakti releases.

Some of which are mild and others that might seem rather robust. These can involve body shaking, breathing bursts, and so on. Those are triggered by the amartyata or deep samyama practices. Amartyata is an immortality technique, involving long-life practices. Samyama is a very profound and ancient practice that leads to the development of siddhis. Can one lead a normal life after doing samyama? That is with loving wife and children. You can live whatever way you like. This is not something that disables you in any way. But for those who do not know, Samyama is an intense eight day yoga program conducted by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev at the Isha Yoga Center near Coimbatore.

It has been over 3 months since I attended this program and I would like to write about how life has changed since then. The term post-Samyama is quite apt since, as anyone who has been through the program would know, life does change quite dramatically within those eight days. Of course, it is not possible to speak about what is actually done during the program - partly because it is forbidden to speak about it, but mostly because what happens there is far beyond my understanding anyway.

In meditation work intensely on the first step: dharanaconcentration. Fix your mind on one object and train your one-pointed focus. Try to inwardly see and feel that object. Absorb yourself in it as intensely as you can. In time lets hope you reach the dhyana -state, where you become one with that object.

And with more time this leads to samadhicomplete oneness. Once you have that, you have achieved true samyama.

Then you can place that samyama on any object and know all that can be known about it. I am consciousness, pure life, I am formless. This will free your consciousness in meditation for true samyama.
